In the summer of 2020, the Expert Council dealt intensively with the data situation on COVID-19. With the aim of making information on the outcome of COVID-19 patients available to the Swiss population, it commissioned the scientific secretariat to collect the relevant data. The survey was carried out in collaboration with the Swiss Society for Intensive Care Medicine and other stakeholders. However, it was not possible to set up a corresponding information system for advanced care planning because the necessary data had not been released. The key points of the project are summarised in a short report.
